Here's Daph this afternoon. Any guesses what she's going through?!
The look on her face says it all, and the bottle of Tylenol in her hands should give another clue. Despite the fact that I think she is not 'comfortable', she still hangs in there like a trooper. We have no teeth to speak of, yet, but I'm sure they're on their way. In one of the pics below, it almost looks like there are some there, but they aren't!
She's still the happiest, most patient baby around! She is not crawling, and I praise her every day for it! She rolls around in her crib, pounds her legs and swings her arms wildly (lots of times at the same time!), and screeches with delight. She's loving peek a boo, any interaction with her brother and sister (as long as they aren't hugging her with too much fervor) and just entertains us with her presence! She has finally taken to the johnny jump up, and goes crazy jumping in the exersaucer (I have videos...coming soon!). If she gets her hands on ANY paper product, we have to be ready to swoop...she goes NUTS and wants to chew, chew, chew on it. And, she gets really angry when it's taken away. Speaking of things being taken away, she now knows when the big kids take something out of her hands and she lets them know she doesn't like it! They are learning that they need to distract her with a "trade" item if they want what she has (and how dumb is it that they DO want something she has...it's her baby toy, usually. Ugh...siblings!).
Wyatt and Annabelle are the best big siblings. They are genuinely excited to see her in the mornings or when she wakes from naps. They enjoy sitting and playing with her and always want to help with her. It is so heartwarming. I had never even considered whether or not they would take to a baby sibling, but am so blessed that it is visually obvious how much they love her and have openly given her her place in our family. It is amazing.

Annabelle and Wyatt:
Thank you for the cheer for
the Hokies. I hope it will
help. Great Grandma will be watching the game tonight (Sat.8:00 p.m.).
I copied the pictures so I
can share them with my Hokie neighbors. We can see the VaTech stadium from
our Warm Hearth Village.
