More Catch Up

I'll see if I can recap March in pictures! Here we go!!!

The Montair First Graders had a Patriotic Performance

We made double-layer krispy treats for Wyatt to take to school for his birthday.

Daphne started Pre School!

Birthday Doughnuts for Wyatt's 9th Birthday!!!

And Grandma and Grandma came to town to celebrate Wyatt's birthday!
We went straight to a place called Boomer's.

Wyatt SOAKED us on the bumper boats!

We had dinner at the same chosen spot, The Dog.

And the cake!

Then Annabelle had her 7th birthday! She took a few friend to a candle place to make candles, then the two girls were supposed to stay the night (only one did)!

Breakfast

Cupcakes to take to school.

The girls caught playing beauty shop out front!

 Father/Daughter Skate Nights - 80's themed

Uncle Sean came to visit, kinda to see us, but also to draft his fantasy baseball team.

That same weekend we had the whole family over for Winter/Spring family birthday celebrations. (That's a different cake than the one on Wyatt's birthday! It was a busy baking month for me!)

Daphne and I got to treat Uncle Sean with a trip to the Oakland Zoo before he left. The three of us had a GREAT time! That's March in a nutshell!

Fallen off the Face

I promise we haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Just hit another busy patch of time where I just couldn't get myself here...I'll try to give a quick run-down of what's been goin' down here at the Mundy house.

Late January Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit.

Every now and then I have tried to take advantage of the time I have left with Daph at home with me (and the beautiful weather). This day we went for a "peacock walk", which is a walk around the neighborhood to where the peacocks live. We keep count of how many we see each time. I also showed Daph these drains at the corners, and how they echo. She now calls them the "echos" whenever she sees them and can't wait to yell something down there or throw a rock in.

 Movie night with bean bags!

Daphne asks incessantly for candy! Starting first thing in the morning...this day she wore me down, but at least she counted her skittles! She was able to count all 14 of them correctly!

Early February, Matthew and I got away for an over-nighter to a winery in Healdsburg for an annual Chocolate & wine pairing event. It was so great to get away!

The next weekend we headed to Southern Cal for a water polo tournament. We all went this time...which marks the beginning of a new chapter for us all, as Wyatt is actually playing as a part of the 10 & under team! A new adventure for us all! This was about hour 5 of the 6 hour drive...

Trying to make the trip something for everyone, we spent Friday at Disneyland! We had such a great time! Daph and I hung out to go on all "her size" rides, while Matthew and the big kids hit all the big rides. We met back up for lunch and a couple of rides as a family. The tea cups were a highlight for all of us!

Tough to get this picture as the sun was in our eyes!

The girls were TOTAL troopers as the rest of the weekend was all about getting to the pool, hanging out at the game, going to find something to eat and getting back to the pool for another game. They were great!

Valentine's Day was Tuesday, so we had to do some crafting on the road, too! We spent some time between games getting supplies at Joanne's and then cutting felt circles for what would eventually be fortune cookie Valentine's!

We got home at 2:30 a.m. Monday morning, from So Cal, then turned around and left on Friday at noon for Sea Ranch (the kids had Fri & Mon. off for Prez. Day)! Fred and Renata took the kids for a walk to see the seals as soon as we got there.

It had been almost 2 years since we'd been to Sea Ranch. It was good to be back! And, no one puked on the way up there! ;)

 Beach time...

This won't come as a shocker...I was cold...

The awesome fort that they boys (mostly Matthew) built!

 Trying to document us!

The after-math of a filling BBQ dinner at a place called Bone's Roadhouse! (Wyatt's last meal for a while, literally).

The girls doing what?! Entertaining themselves...wanting to go in the hot tub, maybe?!

Wyatt got sick Friday night (stomach flu) and was in and out the rest of the weekend. He had spots of energy, but lots of low energy and no appetite (except for at the BBQ place, and then I think he overdid it!). We got him this erector set to give him something to do. He loved it, of course!

Oma Point (the place where we spread Pat's ashes).

That was January & February! The kids want breakfast...I guess I'll go do the "mom thing"! More to come!!!
