We didn't NEED it, but we fell in love...

What is it? A zinc-topped table and an antique school bench. The back of the bench folds over so the kids (yeah, right...) could use it to do their homework on. We found them at the Alameda Antique Fair and just couldn't let them go! The rooster is from the antique fair, too. Our good friend Biga bought it for us as a housewarming present. It's awesome!!!

It's gorgeous. Who did you go to the flea with? You know that's where I used to go monthly (before Isla came along and rocked my world.) LOL

I especially love the zinc top!!

I took the kids the first time in March. We had so much fun, we had to go back! All five of us went - in fact, we delayed our trip to Tahoe so we could go to the "Antique Faire" (as it is now called - I guess it's gone upscale!). I can't wait to go agin!

John went with me once or twice, but we soon decided that it was best for him NOT to go. He would get bored almost-immediately, and then he would veto everything I wanted. He was a total party pooper.

Now I have dreams (and plans) of going to the famous Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena... to look for cool finds and for CELEBRITIES!! :)
