Thankful for great teachers

Double batch of Kendall Jackson's Caramel Corn for our great teachers to enjoy while on break.

Vocab

Annabelle had an assignment to define the word corkscrew (as in curls in hair). The word is in a Thanksgiving story they're going to read today. Here's a practice run of her presentation:

Count down

The obvious...

And, what Annabelle made after she saw what Daph and I had made earlier in the day. Hers is a countdown to December...and Thanksgiving...and, and, and...she keeps adding other things! And, that's a pilgrim girl under the rainbow!

Indoor soccer

Mondays for Annabelle, Wednesdays for Wyatt. The last time we were all here is when Wyatt was playing in kindergarten and Daphne was a newborn. Ugh, another sign of time flying!!!

3-d movie

We all went to see Wreck it Ralph today. I think Matthew and I enjoyed it more than the kids!

Saturday

Wyatt, Matthew and I went to watch the NCS championship game between San Ramon Valley High School and Miramonte. It was a great game to watch, sadly, San Ramon lost 9-8.

This is the student section:

Wyatt being a big turkey...I was trying for a pic of he and I, and this was as good as I could get.

Here's what's on Daphne's mind...

Friday

Traditional Friday Fare

Neighbor kids and neighbor photographer practicing with a new lens.

Cooperative kids...for about 2 minutes!

And a few of just D!

Jumping Jacks to keep warm while Carrie checks her camera settings!

One that Carrie got - identical eyes with the owl hat!

And, later...
